Whisper 100

The Whisper 100 is great for telecommunications, outbuildings, or home use. It has three-blade 2.1 meter (7 ft.) diameter rotor, is lightweight, and economical. The Whisper 100 can withstand the toughest wind conditions. Its rated power is 900 watts. The stock No. 450470 Whisper 100 includes a 12-24-48V multi-voltage controller but can also be sold without it. It is also available for Marine applications.

The Whisper 100 has a smaller rotor diameter for sustained high winds. In high wind areas, the 100 will provide nearly as much power as the 200, without furling. Water pumping, battery charging, and telecommunications are all applications for the 100. The 100 was designed for maximum durability in sustained high wind environments or as an entry level turbine for moderate power needs.

A 12-24-48V multi-voltage controller is included with every Whisper 100. Excess power is diverted through a resistor network that can also be used for area heating. A diversion load for water preheating is optional.

All Whisper wind turbines feature the patented Angle-Furl Governor. In high winds the Whisper will quietly furl its blades to protect itself from damage. Unlike other turbines that lose 80% of their output, the Whisper will maintain its power output while furling in all winds.
