Our interactive, voltage regulated, 12V Educational Light Box has been redesigned for greater durability and reliability. We have added tougher components and additional heat sinking to handle excess voltage. Our 12V Educational Light Box is designed for even the most demanding, high traffic settings.

Designed to be used with our Human Power Generator, the Educational Light Box is a TURN-KEY, PLUG and PLAY system. There is no extra assembly or wiring required.  The system is portable and easy to handle. Its' ease of function makes it accessible for all ages.

The 12V Educational Lightbox holds two lightbulbs - one 13W CFL bulb and one 50W incandescent bulb.  While both bulbs provide the same lightshed, the compact fluorescent bulb is much easier to light.  The user can switch from one bulb to the other to feel the difference in physical energy it requires to light up each bulb. The difference is remarkable!

Our Educational 12V lightbox is voltage regulated.  This is a very important feature as no matter how hard a person cranks the generator, the voltage will be regulated at 12V and will protect the bulbs and circuitry from failure due to over voltage.

This system can easily integrate into energy education programs in schools, museums or green marketing firms.

Windstream has been working with educators for over 30 years developing curriculum and interactive demonstrations for the classroom, museums and non-profit agencies.
